The sexual organs in the human body is what distinguishes male and female.

It serves several functions. It produces the hormones responsible for the physical characteristics related to gender. It performs the function of reproduction. If stimulated, it is a source of intense feeling of physical pleasure that orgasm.

The female sexual apparatus is located in the cavity of the pelvis.

At its top are located the two ovaries, small glands that produce hormones responsible for female physical characteristics and containing ova, ie reproductive cells. Each month, the ovaries take turns in the secretion of an egg.

The ovaries start two channels called fallopian tubes.

This is where fertilization occurs the egg. When the tube, after a sexual encounter, come sperm, that male reproductive cells, starts to play. The tube is then grafted uterus. The uterus is a hollow muscular organ, big around as a fist. Here, the fertilized egg grows into a complete organism. The walls of the uterus are very elastic and able to expand enough to contain one or more unborn.

The lower base of the uterus is called the cervix and leads to the vagina, a channel about 10 cm long which opens outside.

During sex, the vagina receives the penis, male sexual organ. Its walls are capable of secreting a lubricating liquid that favors the relationship.

Such as the uterus, the tissues of the vagina is very elastic and childbirth dilate to allow passage of the baby. The only part of the external female sexual apparatus is the vulva. It is located in the groin and is constituted by two pairs of folds of the skin, said large and small lips.

Among the small lips are placed the opening of the vagina, the urethral orifice through which urine flows out, and the clitoris. The clitoris is a body made up of the same fabric as the male penis. As the penis, if stimulated swells and generates pleasure. Even rubbing the clitoris, like the one between the penis and vagina, it is considered a possible source of orgasm.

The oldest mythological figure associated with female sexuality and maternity is the Great Mother.

His cult spread around 25,000 years ago in the Mediterranean and Asia Minor.

Great Mother favors births, agriculture and country life. It is associated with the Earth, and the spring, cyclically, becomes fertile, as happens to women every month.

Over the centuries, various civilizations ascribe different names to the Great Mother. For the Egyptians is Isis, Ishtar for the Sumerians, for the Aztecs Maka
